CHA at the Haliburton Home and Cottage Show

CHA at the annual Haliburton Home and Cottage Show

Lakefront Property owners have a major impact on the health of their lakes.

Getting information to them about how to protect that health has proven many times to have an impact.

Owners with a Lake association can access the CHA Lake Health information through their associations.

Over 75 % of lakes in Haliburton County do not have a lake association.

The water from those lakes flows into other lakes.

The CHA rents and staffs a booth at the annual Haliburton Home show to provide property owners that do not belong to a lake association with the information they need to protect our lakes.

Over the 3 days of the show, we talk to over 1000 people and provide them with 1000’s of Tip sheets and answer their questions.

The other benefit of CHA being at the show is that we learn from the discussions with these owners.
